Netflix Chooses Perfect Actor for Bon Clay in One Piece Season 3

The Secret Organization is poised to make a major impact in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the real showdown won’t unfold until the next season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has recently been selected.

The platform declared recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Mr. 2. The role has the ability to change into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their main hand. Escola, who is identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that role reimagined as non-binary, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and cartoon version.

The new cast member joins several other fresh additions who will portray Baroque Works to reality, including chief Sir Crocodile, portrayed by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who will appear as the cast as the ruler of the fictional land.

Although the role is a important part of Baroque Works, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. Considering the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden arc, this signals a major departure in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest more adjustments to the narrative framework.

Their mix of sharp comedic timing and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the part. Besides their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and numerous honors for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised figures.

The streaming service’s real-life One Piece show is scheduled to come back for its next installment on March 10th, 2026.
